Rehoming Your German Shepherd

We understand that life has a way of throwing us curveballs that make it necessary to rehome a pet. If you are facing that difficult decision, we’re here to help. Our rescue stays full, so it’s not always possible for us to take your dog into our care, but we can offer some alternatives. Please reach out to us, so we can try to help you with this difficult process!

IT IS NEVER OK TO ABANDON YOUR ANIMAL. IT PUTS YOUR PET AT RISK AND IT’S ILLEGAL!

STEPS

1. Please complete and upload the Surrender Application on this page.

2. We will contact you to set up a time and place to meet you and your dog. At that time, we will do a temperament test. Proof of Rabies Vaccination required at that time.

3. Upon securing the right foster home for your dog, you will sign the Surrender Agreement and provide us with your dog's medical records, and we will take them to their foster home.

Please Note...

Submitting the Surrender Application does not guarantee we can accept your dog into our program.

Please remember that the costs of medical care and daily expenses for each pup adds up, so we do require a $75 surrender donation per dog.
